Lia’s journey with FlahertyColvin began in 2014, when she joined the practice as a summer receptionist. From the start, her keen analytical mind, eye for detail and natural organizational talent stood out, quickly making her an invaluable part of the team. Impressed by her dedication and the positive impact she had on daily operations, the practice invited her to stay on permanently.
Since then, Lia has steadily advanced her professional expertise. In 2015, she earned her Series 6 securities license, becoming a registered representative. Her commitment to deepening her knowledge continued with the achievement of the Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC®) designation in 2021, further strengthening her capabilities in retirement planning.
As a valued member of the FlahertyColvin team, Lia plays a vital role in ensuring the office runs efficiently. Her professionalism, resourcefulness and client-focused approach make her indispensable. Whether she’s fielding client inquiries, supporting advisors, or managing behind-the-scenes operations, Lia ensures everything flows seamlessly. She also takes the lead on troubleshooting IT issues, designing marketing materials and streamlining internal processes to enhance overall workflow.

A lifelong resident of Westerville, Lia is deeply connected to her community. She currently serves on Westerville’s Uptown Review Board, where she helps guide the preservation and thoughtful development of the district, demonstrating her passion for civic engagement and local growth.
Outside the office, Lia embraces creativity and exploration. She enjoys playing the ukulele, painting and diving into books and films. A novice traveler, she loves the thrill of discovering new places and cultures, always eager to broaden her horizons. At home, she and her husband, Luke, are often found enjoying the outdoors with their three beloved rescue dogs, Dusa, Barret, and Lemon, walking local trails.
